London Speech Centre

London Speech Centre is a LAMDA centre giving students access to speech and drama.

We aim to encourage expression in the hope that students will walk into any role with the confidence to speak proudly for themselves.

We focus on each individuals’ needs and talents
Work towards heightened emotional understanding
Encourage linguistical fluency and clear expression – both physically and verbally
Provide a platform for students to stand up and speak for themselves

LAMDA is a world-leading drama school and examinations provider, training and inspiring exceptional artists for over 160 years. We at London Speech Centre are LAMDA tutors, teaching students the LAMDA syllabus and then booking in exams with LAMDA to get their qualifications.

UCAS points. We are one of the few after school clubs that offers UCAS points from Grade 6
It’s an easy access route to critical thinking by encouraging students to analyse what they’re doing and why it works

Strengthens attentiveness and self-awareness
Students don’t have to ‘be creative’ to join in. We believe that everyone has the ability to be creative and it is our job to nurture that

Sally Paffett

TUTOR, ACTOR, DIRECTOR
Producer and performer in Vermin (Etcetera Theatre 2022). Screen and stage actor with credits including Self Help (2022, Winner of Best Supporting 2019), Beginnings (2021, stage, Lion & Unicorn), My Name is Cathy (2019, stage, Chapel Theatre), All of Them (2019, web-series), The House (stage, 2017, Maltings Theatre, Bread & Roses) and The Burying Party (2017).
